Our frequently asked questions help answer common queries regarding our vehicle rental services in Tadley & Basingstoke

Are you travelling into the congestion charging zone?

You are fully liable for paying the congestion charge on the day of you entering the congestion charging zone, if you fail to do so any penalty charge notices will be forwarded on to you, and we would charge a £25.00 administration fee.

Can I take one of your vehicles abroad?

Yes, but you must get prior consent from us. Special terms apply for taking vehicles outside the U.K. Our staff will be pleased to provide you with full details.

Can we leave the vehicle outside office hours?

You cannot return the vehicle outside the premises outside of office hours. The vehicle, together with the keys, must be returned to us during office hours.

Is there an insurance excess on the policy?

Yes there is an insurance excess on the policy of £400, which we reserve the right to take if you damage our vehicle or anyone else's property. If you have more than 3 points currently on your licence, our insurers will increase this sum.

Do you rent out vehicles for half a day?

Yes we do rent out vehicles for half a day; a morning, afternoon or evening from Monday through to Thursday.

What documentation will we need to show?

We will need to see the photo ID licence and DVLA summary, along with one other form of ID, i.e. a passport, utility bill or bank statement, together with a debit/credit card.

What age do you have to be?

Our insurer's standard terms are for drivers between the ages of 25 and 70. They will consider drivers between 23 and 24 and between 70 and 75, subject to certain conditions, although they will increase the excess payable in the event of a claim.


As from 8th June 2015 the counterpart driving licence (paper part) was abolished.
Therefore, customers will need to go online before coming to collect vehicles, in order to access your licence details.
This can be done here where you will need to enter your driving licence number and NI number.
Please print the page that shows whether you have any penalty points or not and bring this with you when you collect the rental vehicle. This has to be done within 21 days prior to the rental otherwise it will be out of date.
